When you’re organising a corporate event there are so many things to consider, from the guest list and the catering to the entertainment and, of course, the venue.
But if you’re looking for somewhere truly spectacular to host your next event, consider one of these London gems, which you may be surprised to learn you can actually hire.
Event Industry News has pulled together a list of eight famous historical buildings in the UK’s capital that are available for event hire. Among them is the House of Commons, which boasts ten events spaces that can be rented when parliament isn’t in session.
St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London are other amazing landmarks that offer spaces for corporate events, with the latter able to cater for groups of up to 2,000 people.
Kensington Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Old Royal Naval College also made the list, as did the Natural History Museum – the publication highlights the museum’s “futuristic Earth Galleries” as “perfect for extravagant parties and exclusive functions”.
The final space on the list was the Serpentine Galleries in Kensington Gardens – another quirky and interesting place to hire.
But while finding the perfect venue is part of the battle, so too is finding the right entertainment option – think carefully about who will be attending when selecting your entertainment. Is a photobooth the best way to engage people, or would your guests prefer the thrill of an F1 simulator?
In fact, there are simulators out there for a host of sports ranging from archery and golf to basketball and ice hockey, so you can find the perfect option for your event.
